Jeremy “JD” Da

Born and raised trilingual in Paris, France, Jeremy Da [JD] was exposed to a wide variety of music genres from his earliest days. From Broadway musicals to French Hip-Hop, his ear ran the gamut. Eager to play music, he started drumming and joined several groups throughout his high school and college years, and slightly beyond. While he honed his drumming skills, he also completed several programs and internships at the world’s most renowned institutions, labels, management companies, booking agencies, and studios, such as Berklee College of Music, Atlantic Records, WAGI, or Sony Music Studios.

In his mid to late 20’s, Jeremy felt his calling was in management. Leaning on his multilingual and multicultural background, he began working with the Dominican and now multiple Grammy winning artist Vicente Garcia, helping him grow in the United States. This quickly burgeoned into US management positions with Grammy winners and nominees Natalia Lafourcade, Alex Ferreira, ASTRO and more. With extensive travel to Latin America in those years, he developed a robust network in and a deep understanding of the Latin music market.

The next few years would be spent in digital distribution and rights management, where Jeremy quickly rose up the ranks as he continued to focus mainly on Latin music. He held various corporate executive positions, first at US-based Cinq Music, where he led the marketing team for the 13X Platinum hit “Amanece” by Anuel AA and Janet Jackson’s cross-cultural “Made for Now” alongside Daddy Yankee. Next, he became Head of Creator Relations at US-based Vydia, where he managed a 3-person team, closing business on both the general market and Latin sides of the industry. He then accepted a role as VP US for Altafonte, a digital distributor headquartered in Madrid, Spain, where he is most known for identifying new and fresh musical trends, such as island reggaetón in Barranquilla, Colombia (Bless Music, Beéle…).

With a profound knowledge in distribution, rights management, marketing and the overall digital landscape, and clearly defined roots in the Latin music industry, Jeremy is ushering INVTBL into a global digital era where content is to be consumed by all, no matter where they are from or what language they speak.
